PrintLab Testimonials
We are proud to support thousands of teachers and makers around the world with meaningful 3D printing curriculum. Here's what they have to say about PrintLab!
I was just selected as District Teacher of the Year and will be competing at the regional level in the coming months. Your curriculum has played a big role in my success, so I appreciate you so much. The assistive device lesson has led me to a partnership with the high school nursing program and their connection to local nursing homes. I’m so excited to see where that relationship leads. So many career connections!
Becky Wynne, Maryville Middle School
I have always been an “early adopter” of technology and wanted to get a 3D printer to play with and explore. But I had not ever used any 3D CAD so I needed a guidebook to help me put the different parts together so I could start to design and prototype my product ideas. Printlab was the perfect resource for guiding me and getting me a proper foundation so I could get up and running.

So, I just love what these guys are doing! They definitely have a grasp of what is needed in the classroom for sure. I feel like everything is laid out perfectly here. This would be something that I feel like I wouldn't really have to tweak at all. Honestly, with the future unknown, this content would be priceless for teachers like me. From what I have seen from this company, they are doing a phenomenal job! I highly recommend it!

The students got a huge amount out of Make:able. Really high engagement, great collaboration in the teams. They learnt a lot about design through the experience and developed some really important human capabilities too. Working in multidisciplinary teams of branding, video editing and CAD/prototyping allowed them to negotiate roles and personalise the experience according to their strengths and interests in design. I wish all education was like this to be honest. Authentic, collaborative, project-based learning.

The kids loved it and we actually managed to get a working whistle at the end! One of the kids has been so keen on it he convinced his Dad to buy a 3D Printer kit and they spent the weekend building it together!

Today, I sat through an interesting talk about what edtech companies from abroad need to do to break the British market. It was all about saving teachers time, producing a quality product, and making it accessible to teachers and students. You’ve got this by the bucket load!
Sam Booth, Bradfield School
I enjoy PrintLab because it offers a feel good goal of assisting people in our community and all over the world, while building necessary universal 3D development skills and concepts. I use PrintLab courses to certify adult patrons who wish to use the library’s 3D printer independently, as well as to teach in 3D printing summer camps for children and teens. This is a valuable tool for every public library that wishes to provide beneficial knowledge with a purpose to their community!

The bottle opener lesson has been my favorite so far. It really fit well into the theme of developing empathy for others, which is an important aspect of my classes. Students did research on arthritis and other circumstances that would require people to use assistive tools. They came up with a variety of designs to meet the needs of a specific person.

Your curriculum provides a lot of support and I have been impressed with the quality of the material. This braille lesson has inspired my 9 year olds and now we have plans to cover the school in braille signage. We also have been inspired to invite blind people into school with their guide dogs to help advise us further
